MTU B.tech syllabus change

From 2012-13 MTU change B.tech syllabus

Mahamaya Technical University (MTU) has changed the evaluation system for B-tech 2012-13 session. After updating the syllabus, students would be required to do only lab work in English classes. University has increased the practicals of many subjects in different branches. The university has prepared a blueprint for a new system. For the first time this new system will be applied in 2012-13 session.

Till now, since the UPTU days, every branch of B-tech had similar syllabus in the 1st year. Now even the 1st year course will be semester-based. In Chemical engineering, mathematics units have been decreased. Contrary to that, in Mechanical and Civil Branches subject–based units have been increased.

Apart from this, MTU will also organise Orientation Programme for newly-admitted students of the new session. Students coming from UP board who have weak English will be a part of this orientation programme. These students will be provided a list of 500-750 words which are mostly used in technical learning. A batch having 60 students will be dividing into half
